The tweet introducing Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey's alias Hilda Baci was deemed the "best-performing tweet of all time" by Guinness World Records.
On Thursday, GWR announced this on its official Twitter account, adding that the tweet that was sent with a video of Hilda Baci's cooking marathon and her certification as the record breaker for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes, has already broken another record.
"Yeah, so this is our best-performing tweet of all time," it stated, "with nearly 25 million news feeds reached."
As of the time this article was filed, the tweet confirming Hilda Baci's record has 220k likes, 86.6k retweets, and 19.2k quotations.
Guinness World Records confirmed Hilda Baci has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual on Tuesday after carefully examining all the evidence. Her time of 93 hours and 11 minutes beats the previous record-holder, Lata Tondon, an Indian-based chef whose cooking marathon lasted for 87 hours, and 45 minutes in 2019.
The 26-year-old Akwa-Ibom chef spent four days in the kitchen preparing more than 100 pots of meals.
Hilda made an effort to set a record of 100 hours, but her final total was reduced by about seven hours as a result of an early miscalculation in which she overestimated the length of one of her rest intervals.
To "put Nigerian cuisine on the map" and "inspire young African women to pursue their dreams," Hilda sought this record.
A live Instagram stream allowed millions of people in Nigeria and elsewhere to follow Hilda's record attempt as it unfolded.

Due to the enormous amount of traffic her legion of devoted admirers generated during her cook-a-thon, the Guinness World Records website crashed for two days.
High-profile individuals, including the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Grammy Award winner Tiwa Savage, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and many others, visited Hilda to show their support for her record-breaking efforts.
Yemi Osinbajo, a former vice president, also spoke, supporting Hilda over the phone during the exercise.
