Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), owned by Very Reverend Father Cammellus Ebenizah Ejike Mbaka joined the league of private club owners in Nigeria’s top two leagues as Adoration FC made its debut in the Nigerian National League.
Adoration FC earned the right to participate in Nigeria’s second tier following its acquisition of a Nigerian National League slot from Goddosky FC. In its first match on Saturday 19th February 2022, Adoration FC lost to Ibom Youths FC by a lone goal at the Ikot Ekpene township stadium.
Parading a team of very young and talented players. Adoration FC wasted chances and was punished in the 55 minutes when Ibom Youths FC left-back Nicholas Joseph applied experience and technique to curl home a free kick from 30 yards to hand Ibom Youths FC the lead.
It finished 1-0 in favour of the hosts Ibom Youths FC but Adoration FC will hold their heads up after an impressive debut despite short notice. According to Rev. Fr.
