BENIN town – THE Deputy Governor of Edo nation, Rt Hon Philip Shaibu, and the priest of the St Paul Catholic Church Benin metropolis, Very Rev. Fr. Edwin Omorogbe have addressed to Nigerians to think outside the container in grappling with contemporary monetary realities and called on security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and properties.
Speak made rapidly after the Sunday service to mark 2023, Father’s Day, where he served as Mass Server for the 7th 12 months walking, Shaibu said with the elimination of gasoline subsidy, Nigerians should assume outdoor the container via conducting fine ventures to enhance their take-domestic pay.
In line with him, "We need extra prayers and hard work. Now, we need to diversify by doing other business to increase our income. That is the time to think outside our salaries positively, now not to thieve, however also that is our time to take advantage of this generation. We are able to change online. We will do other jobs that could supplement our salary so as to reduce hardship."
He commended fathers for their roles in society even though according to him, they have not been favoured.
Shaibu stated if fathers get guidance from their mothers and may construct a strong circle of relatives the society may be higher due to the fact “growth within the society starts evolved from the own family and if families do the proper element, the society could be proper for it.”


On his element, Fr Omorogbe urges security companies to do extra work in protecting the circle of relatives, as he calls for respect to all. Pronouncing that if reciprocated, it would exterminate all forms of hatred and ill feelings amongst humans.
He advised security agencies to fish out the killers of a young Reverend Father Charles Onomhoale Igechi, who was ordained on the 13th, of August 2022 and killed on June 7th, 2023.
"Security companies need to be awake.
Many of our reverend fathers had been abducted with their cassocks, is wearing a cassock now a license to be attacked?
We welcomed our father about nine months ago, and in less than ten months we have lost him, while his mother and grandmother are still alive."
