I wish I switched to gospel music earlier — Chidinma Ekile
A Nigerian gospel singer Chidinma Ekile, popularly known as Miss Kedike, recently revealed that she wished she had switched to gospel music earlier in her career.
Chidinma, the talented winner of Project Fame in 2010, made a significant change in her music career by transitioning from secular music to gospel music in 2021.
This decision was driven by the deep sense of emptiness that she experienced.
In an interview with the Punch, Chidinma Ekile however, shared her desire to have made this transition at an earlier stage in her journey.
“I wish I had made the switch earlier. If I had started this earlier, only God knows where I would have been by now. But, at the end of the day, all things worked together for good and at the right time,” she said.
The “Kedike” crooner also added that growing up, she always knew she would be a gospel artiste.
