Mr Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine Okafor sends message to social media judges as she returns to normal life amid N55m scam
Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of veteran actor, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu, has sent a message to social media judges.
Last week, the Nigerian police had arrested her and one of Mr Ibu’s sons, Daniel Onyeabuchi for allegedly defrauding the actor of the sum of N55 million.
The investigation unearthed text messages via WhatsApp between Jasmine and Daniel detailing how they conspired and hatched their criminal plans. It was also exposed that the two had a sham marriage at the Ikoyi Magistrate Registry with plans to escape from the country to the UK where they intended to settle with their proceeds of crime.
Jasmine had reacted to the news via a blog’s comment section, sarcastically stating that the figures she had been accused of were wrong as she had stolen 1 billion, and was responding live from Kiri Kiri prison.
Taking to her Instagram page minutes ago, Jasmine announced to social media judges and magistrates that are comment section was now open to them.
“Dear Social media judges are magistrates, comment section is open for you as usual…..”.
As expected, many flooded her comment section with hateful comments.
