It can be done online by visiting retail stores and finding products that are on clearance or on sale, these products can be purchased at a discounted price afterwhich they are sold online through online markets like Amazon and ebay.
Retail Arbitrage can be done in person by purchasing of products from wholesalers or manufacturers afterwhich they are sold individually for a higher price.

Retail arbitrage requires you to search through different markets and compare the cost of a certain product. If you find a market where the prices of products are lower, you can buy the products in bulk, then resell the items for a higher price.
