Tension on the Enugu-Ugwuogo Nike-Nsukka road as kidnappers return image

As a result of the alleged return of kidnappers to the Enugu-Ugwuogo-Nike-Nsukka road, travellers in Enugu State are in fear. According to the study, kidnappers took over the roads in the latter part of last year and kidnapped travellers every day.
The abduction of certain University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN students and former Enugu State Government Secretary Dr Dan Shere served as the event's high point.
Security was then increased along the road, and all of the nearby bushes were cut back to improve visibility.
The kidnappers are reportedly returning and holding tourists captive every day now, according to recent reports.
A Facebook user, Senator Chinjinkem Ugwuanyi, who narrated the latest development, wrote: "They have started again @ Opi Nsukka -#Ugwuogo road yesterday and the day before yesterday." "Two days ago they kidnapped people immediately after that #ApiOpi #Shrine along that express, almost close to that Army checkpoint in front of Samuel Maduka University and the kidnappers were even shooting and the Soldiers didn't even care about what was happening near them."

"By grace, one of our married sisters survived it two days ago... As soon as they seized her hostage and carried her inside a bush, she passed out. They gave her time to regain herself before sending additional passengers missing from the train. That's how she got away. On Tuesday morning, June 20, they stated, "Her automobile was recovered."
Every time, this occurs between 5-7 p.m.
Even people who were left stranded and police cars that were parked may be seen from yesterday. They were also observing what was going on up front.
Who knows if they'll come out to kidnap today like they always do?
Authorities need to pay attention since both domestic and foreign criminal actors are back in the kidnapping game.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Enugu State Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe did not return calls left for him when called. Additionally, he didn't reply when a text message was sent to him.
As of the time this report was submitted, the whereabouts of individuals that were kidnapped remain unclear.
