The Belgian reportedly paid £88 million to move from Chelsea to Real Madrid during the 2019 summer transfer window, but due to his poor form and lack of fitness, he was a massive failure at the Santiago Bernabeu and was dubbed the second-worst purchase in football history by 90 minutes.

Hazard played 76 times for Real Madrid but only managed seven goals.
Hazard only managed to score seven goals in all competitions during his four seasons with the team, and his contract expired this past June, making him a free agent.
Speaking about Real Madrid's most recent pricey signing on the Einfach mal Luppen podcast Jude Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid on Wednesday for a rumoured fee of €103 million, was mentioned by Kroos, who also found out that Hazard had joined for the same sum.
"Transfer fee of €103m? Now we also have someone who came here purely for the money and essentially put his career on hold. A significant sum of money, and I believe that everyone would afterwards reflect that the transfer was not so wise. Let's start, though, on a good note, Kroos stated.
On Thursday, Bellingham will be introduced as a Real Madrid player. The England international joins a talented midfield that already includes Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, and Kroos.
