Transfer: Two reasons Salah won’t go to Saudi Arabia – Carragher
Jamie Carragher, Former Liverpool defender, has said he cannot see Mohamed Salah leaving the Premier League in the final week of the window despite late interest from Al Ittihad.
Salah is the subject of interest from the Saudi Pro League, with Carragher previously stating that only an offer above £150m could tempt Liverpool.
But the Sky Sports pundit feels the short time to reinvest in the squad means a move away from Anfield is unlikely.
“I don’t think Mo Salah will go. One, because it’s so late in the window. And I don’t necessarily think Mo Salah will want to go."
“I think Salah will be a little bit like Ronaldo, I can see him playing until his late 30s. He will think he has another three or four years [at the highest level]. He has two years left on his Liverpool contract, I don’t know if he will stay beyond that,” Carragher said.
