Nollywood star Ini Edo has spoken candidly about her failing marriage and the reasons she chose surrogacy. Remember that Ini Edo wed billionaire Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but the union fell apart in 2014.
The mother of one admitted that she regretted being married since it wasn't the correct decision during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Ini Edo is still hoping to be married again if she meets the perfect guy, despite her disastrous marriage.
Ini Edo explained that she had multiple miscarriages before giving up on trying to conceive naturally, which is why she decided to use a surrogate.
She chose surrogacy since she needed a kid badly and didn't have a husband.
"I made the decision to hire a surrogate because I had a few losses, felt weary of trying, and didn't want to try anymore. I wanted to have a child for myself because I don't have a spouse, thus the egg belonged to me."
When asked if she regretted being married, she responded, "Yes, I do. It wasn't the correct decision."
If the proper person appears at my convenience, I will get married once more.
