Yul Edochie begs President Tinubu: Please release Nnamdi Kanu image

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
On June 29, 2021, former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, announced Mazi Nnamdi
Kanu was arrested and extradited to Nigeria from Kenya after being intercepted in the East African country on Sunday, June 26, 2021, by Interpol.
He said Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was extradited to face trial for charges bordering on treasonable felony instituted against him at the Federal High Court in Abuja, in response to years of separatist agitation for an independent Republic of Biafra through IPOB.
Despite courts ordering Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s release, the Nigerian government has refused to set him free.
Joining others to request the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Actor Yul Edochie In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Tuesday morning, pleaded with Tinubu, who he described as a man who fought for democracy for three decades, to set Mazi Nnamdi Kanu free from the Department of State Security (DSS) custody.
“To our Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, @officialABAT GCFR. The Jagaban. A man who has fought for democracy for 3 decades, A builder & supporter of men & women."
“My President, please release Nnamdi Kanu. A humble request from your son, Yul Edochie,” he tweeted.
